That is because STEM skills have been key to building EGA, and why we are calling on students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 to enter the EGA Aluminium Design & Innovation Challenge.

The EGA Aluminium Design & Innovation Challenge is an opportunity to apply your science, technology, engineering, and mathematics skills to design and innovate to make modern life possible using the metal of the future - aluminium.

By participating, students will be able to put into practice their STEM skills. There will also be prizes for the best designs and innovations.
Teams of up to three students can work on any of the following competition themes:

• Future Mobility
• Architecture
• Product design
• Space Solutions

Submit your project portfolio before 18 Jan 2026 for a chance to win cash prizes.

• 1st place winning teams will receive AED 12,000.
• 2nd place winning teams will receive AED 8,000.
• 3rd place winning teams will receive AED 5,000.
