Ahmed Almazroui
Ahmed uses creativity, innovation and aluminium to solve day-to-day problems.
Based in Abu Dhabi, he leads a team of skilled professionals at Ahmed Al Mazrouei Metal Industries who create technological innovations that make life better both in the UAE and abroad. With his team, Ahmed is always on the cusp of a new invention.
“My first invention was a car that was assembled in the UAE, and most of its parts were made from aluminium due to its light weight.”

Aluminium is amongst the world's most versatile metals. Lightweight, strong and infinitely-recyclable, it is part of everything from smartphones and building, and from food packaging to car parts.
EGA is the world's largest 'premium aluminium' producer. We make one-in-every 25 tonnes of all aluminium made worldwide.
“Of course, my childhood was a bit different than others’. When my father was away, he used to take out parts from the car so I would not drive it by myself.
“I discovered the parts that my father would take apart and I used to put them back in the car, start the car, and drive it myself without him.”
