“Music in Hospitals” sessions, where talented young Emirati and non-Emirati musicians performed for over 750 patients in hospitals in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah from 3 to 7 April 2016. Music-related activities are well documented and scientifically proven powerful therapeutic methods to stimulate cognitive skills of the disabled and aid the healing process of the sick. The “Music in Hospitals” performances served to enrich the life of patients while providing opportunities for community development between the patients, their families and healthcare staff.
