Aluminium giant donates AED 1 million towards the UAE’s humanitarian campaign to alleviate winter suffering for refugees in the Levant
United Arab Emirates, 10 January 2015: In response to the directive of HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (President of the United Arab Emirates) and the support of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai) Emirates Global Aluminium (“EGA”) has donated AED 1 million towards the UAE’s humanitarian campaign to support hundreds of thousands of refugees in Jordan and Lebanon, in addition to those affected in Gaza and in other parts of Palestine
With temperatures dropping below zero, the entire Levant is set to be hit by a heavy snowstorm that will bring heavy rain, hail and snow in the coming days.
