Ahmed Saeed Al Calily
Board Member and Chair of the Human Capital Committee
Ahmed Saeed Al Calily has served as a board member of EGA since August 2022. He is also the Chair of the Human Capital Committee.
Ahmed is the Chief Strategy and Risk Officer for Mubadala Investment Company PJSC, with oversight over portfolio strategy, enterprise risk management, and responsible investing.
Previously, Ahmed was the CEO of Energy at Mubadala, where he oversaw the company’s energy assets. Prior to re-joining Mubadala, Ahmed was Director General of the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee and CEO and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Ports Company. Ahmed also served as Deputy Director of the Infrastructure and Services Unit at Mubadala.
He currently serves on the boards of Masdar, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Medical Holding Company, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Global Foundries.
Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political science from Boston University.
