Code of Conduct
The EGA values underpin the EGA Code of Conduct, which requires that everyone who works directly for (or represents) EGA – including all EGA employees, representatives, contractors, consultants and partners – must meet the highest standards of corporate behaviour in all aspects or work and in all regions of the world.
The EGA Code of Conduct sets out, in detail, the expectations of management. At the most fundamental level the EGA Code of Conduct expresses a corporate commitment to conduct our business ethically, in compliance with the law and EGA values. Each year employees certify that they have read and will comply with our Code of Conduct.
We provide training for our employees on the Code of Conduct and specific compliance policies.
We promote an environment where employees feel comfortable raising concerns without fear of retaliation. We also provide a third party report line for lodging concerns.
We expect third parties with which we do business to adhere to the standards set out in our Code of Conduct.
We continuously monitor compliance with our Code of Conduct.
If you see a possible violation of EGA’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures or applicable laws, it is important to report your concerns to us.
Your Voice is a confidential report line run for EGA by an independent company. It is available online and by phone, 24/7 and in multiple languages.
Subject to local laws, it is possible to remain anonymous, but we encourage you to identify yourself because it helps the review and investigative processes. Reports are sent to EGA’s Compliance team who handle them discreetly and, to the extent possible, maintain confidentiality.
EGA will not tolerate retaliation of any kind against any person who reports in good faith a possible violation.
